We will be featuring classes from Dirty Martini, Kristina Nekyia, Lux, LaCroix, Imogen Kelly, Julie Atlas Muz, and more!
Classes will take place at 440 Studios at 440 Lafayette St 10003. We recommend using hopstop.com to get directions from your location.
Please carefully review the studio number for each class as there will be multiple classes running on each date in multiple studios and we cannot refund you if you accidentally go to the wrong studio instead of the studio to which we have directed you on this page.
Please note, we cannot refund with less than 3 business days' notice. Please review our payment policies to review your options if you purchase a class and then can't make it.

Julie constantly tours the world and is in high demand for prestigious gigs in every city she visits year round. She brings to the stage fearless movement and a love of dance and clowning. Bring high heels and be prepared for high kicks and high motivation!

Stretch & Strengthen: Circus Style Flexibility Training
With Kristina Nekyia, World Famous Burlesque and Belly Dancer!
This workshop with Kristina Nekyia is for adults who would like to increase their flexibility and range of motion. Students will learn how to safely stretch their legs, hips, shoulders, and back while building the muscle and balance needed to use your flexibility. Techniques are drawn from circus contortion and dance techniques. This class is ideal for circus performers, dancers, martial artists, yogis, athletes, and anyone else who would like to open up their body to a new way of moving. Stretching safely makes your body healthier, stronger, and more resistant to injury. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat.

Burlesque Choreography for Modern Music
with Lux LaCroix, BHOF Title Holder and Lucha VaVoom Superstar!
Would you rather do a fan dance to Lana Del Rey than The David Rose Orchestra? Let's face it, everybody loves the classics, but some of us would like to spread our boas. Lux LaCroix will teach you how to bump and grind your way into the present and future. Giving you skills from the past ranging from chair dancing to stocking peels and presenting them to a present day soundtrack that will titillate even the most classic burlesque enthusiast.

First time this workshop has been presented in NYC!
Imogen won the judges' hearts at the 2012 BHOF Pageant with her extravagant style, consummate skill, and larger than life persona. In this workshop she will be sharing tips on movement, costuming, and stage presence that can take you from VaVaVoom to "Holy Crap! Who was THAT?"
Bring a notebook and pen and come dressed to move.
Tassel-Twirling with Dirty Martini, voted Number One Burlesque Star in the World!

Even if you know how to tassel twirl, you shouldn't miss this! First time she has ever taught it in NYC--who knows when the next time will be???
We have kept the prices exceptionally low in order to help folks--we know NYC is expensive and the festival tickets aren't cheap! So, unfortuantely we cannot offer a package deal on the classes.
Please note--other classes listed on the calendar over this weekend that are not on this page are series and are not open for dropins.
The studio is at 440 Lafayette St in Manhattan. Click here for directions. You are responsible for getting there on time and checking yourself off on the sheet the instructor will have with your paypal email on it. There will be no receptionist. DO NOT wait until the day of the class to ask questions, as the weekend will get very hectic! If you have questions, email at least one day before the class. email@example.com.
