Are you a beginner working to understand the best ways to create choreography? An experienced performer feeling your choreography could use a boost? Chairdance Mastery
Lux will teach you how to transform a chair from something you sit your butt and fans on, into a dancing platform. You will learn how to slide, kick, prop, balance, flip upside down and even work the splits. Think of how much fun you will be at the dinner table!
Recommended wear: a leotard or shorts and dance shoes. Be prepared to move!

2008 Reigning Queen of Burlesque, First Runner Up and Most Dazzling Performer
Lux is a burlesque star, documentary filmmaker, professional ballerina and award-winning choreographer. Professionally she has worked with artists such as Kanye West, Chris Brown, N.E.R.D., OutKast, Janet Jackson and Lady GaGa. In 2009 her burlesque based performance art piece, "Color Me Purple" was featured at REDCAT'S Spring Studio program. And in 2010, she became a principal dancer with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater Company. Lux is also a regular performer in the Mexican Wrestling and Saucy Striptease extravaganza known as Lucha VaVOOM!
Lux LaCroix has been featured performer the past seven years at the New York Burlesque Festival and in 2008 she was named Miss Exotic World's 1st Runner-Up as well as "Most Dazzling Performer".
