Learn the art of the sensual, glamourous fan dance!
This class will be taught by Jezebel Express
Intermediate Fan Dance $30
This is a large ostrich feather fan technique class, and each student is responsible for bringing a set of Sally Rand (20x40 or bigger) feather fans to class.
We'll start the class by revisiting basic fan handling techniques, from finding a comfortable grip to moving your fans around your body with grace and ease. We'll explore different types of fan movement and learn framing poses that help you use fans to showcase your sexy bod. We'll also address a performer's practical concerns: how to choreograph a fan dance that sparkles instead of snoozes, how to get your clothes off while holding fans, and how to use fans effectively to tease and titillate the audience with purposeful concealing and revealing motions.
