It concludes with the opportunity to perform your newly crafted number at a student showcase at the spectacular Slipper Room!
This entertaining and empowering series will teach you how to approach burlesque act development choreography with
confidence, using an approach that will explain not only how, but why. You'll learn how to time your reveals and "big moments" for
maximum impact, how to pace your act and move smoothly through
transitions, and how to use your music to your advantage, whether it's
Doris Day or Danzig.
You will also learn tips and tricks for creating your own "movement
vocabulary"--a set of movements that look and feel great on YOU, no matter your
dance experience or skill level.
